When and where is Pulling for Hope?

How does Pulling for Hope work?
- Assemble a team of 10 people. They can be family, friends, co-workers, and neighbors, as long as they’re over the age of 18. If someone on your team is unable to attend at the last minute, we will have volunteers at the ready to jump in and complete your team.
- Create your team by emailing Brittni Snidle at Brittni.Snidle@wingsofhope.ngo. You will provide your team name, list of team members (if available), and graphic/image for your team page. We will then create a team page and share a link and QR Code with you for your team to share with your network to continue to raise funds for Pulling for Hope benefiting Wings of Hope.
- Raise a minimum of $1,000 per team. When your team has met the minimum, you are eligible to receive your choice of time slot. Please send your team members’ names and t-shirt sizes to Brittni.Snidle@wingsofhope.ngo.
- Send a representative to pick up your team members’ packets at Wings of Hope from Monday, September 23 through Wednesday, October 2, from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm.
- Pull our 25-ton Gulfstream III jet 60 feet.

May I watch and not participate?
Yes! Pulling for Hope family friendly event open to the community. You’re invited to come cheer on the teams! There is no entry fee, but please consider a donation to support our mission of changing and saving lives through the power of aviation. We will have a spectator observation area, and portable chairs are welcome. Note: the viewing area is not covered.
What should I wear as a participant?
- Gloves (leather or rubber)
- Closed-toe shoes with rubber soles
- Hat (for shade), sunscreen, sunglasses
- Rain gear, if necessary
- Event t-shirt provided by Wings of Hope

When can we get our event shirts and packet?
Packets will be available for pick up at Wings of Hope from Monday, September 23 through Wednesday, October 2 (9 a.m.-4 p.m.). The packets will contain shirts, required waivers and lanyards.
The event will go on rain or shine. In the event of lightning or dangerous weather, it will be canceled.
Where can I access the team schedule?
The schedule will be posted on the website. Stay tuned.
I have cash and checks - where should I submit them?
Mail or drop off at Wings of Hope by Friday, September 20, to count toward your $1,000 fundraising minimum. Place in an envelope marked: Wings of Hope, Attention: Holly Berthold, 18370 Wings of Hope Blvd., Chesterfield, MO 63005.
How will the proceeds benefit Wings of Hope?
All event proceeds support our mission of changing and saving lives through the power of aviation. Some examples of how we could use the proceeds:
- To pay for flights to medical care in the U.S. or in the other nine countries we serve through our partner field bases
- To support fly-in medical clinics in remote regions with no access to health care
- To keep our airplanes maintained and safe for flight
What happens if my team doesn't raise the $1,000 minimum?
We are happy to charge your credit card for the remaining funds in order to reach the minimum.
Teams and guests can park in the Wings of Hope parking lot, next door at Helicopters, Inc. (18366 Wings of Hope Blvd.) or along Wings of Hope Blvd. Chesterfield Police will be helping direct traffic.
Is this a family-friendly event?
Yes! We will have a kids area with a lot of fun activities.
Will there be food and refreshments?
Yes! You may purchase food and beverages from the Food Trucks that will be on-site. Alcohol will not be served nor allowed at the event.
What are the ways I can make a Pulling for Hope donation?
- Deliver/mail a check made out to Wings of Hope or cash to Wings of Hope before or on the event day, to the attention of Holly Berthold.
